Hurricane Comminution Reactor

80,000 years of refining traditional milling techniques has evolved to many variations of impact/shearing mills. What we have today is just a more powerful way of pounding on the material with a suitable “rock” from 80,000 years ago! All these ancient and modern techniques crush materials without considering better ways of utilizing scarce resources and increasing sustainability. Whether impact or shearing force or a combination of the two, many valuable components are either destroyed or rendered hard to concentrate, separate or preserve.

The Hurricane Comminution Reactor technology on the other hand is based on the idea of liberating the individual components of composite material. Rather than crushing the material, this revolutionary technology facilitates the material disassembling itself using acceleration and particle collision.
